Every year I set unattainable goals for myself and don’t accomplish any of them. As a teacher, when my students are getting ready for winter break, one of the fun activities I love to do with them is setting SMART goals. I realized my first year of teaching that my students goals were to become athletes, but they were 8 and had no clue what it took to get there. So instead, I made them set more realistic goals that pertained to their life then. It was later that school year I heard about SMART goals, and decided to start using the concept in the following years.
So this year, as I sit to make my goals, I decided to take the same approach. SMART is an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely.
I’ve created this smart goals info graphic for you to save or screenshot to help you when setting your own goals! I used weight loss as an example, simply because it’s an easy one that (most) people could relate to!
I hope this helps you set goals that you’ll accomplish! Make 2021 your year, because we all know 2020 stunk!
All these combinations, leads to longer life. May I have your WhatsApp number or Facebook handle please? I wanna turn all my friends on WordPress to my personal contact.
